not everything i find in the marsh is beautiful. most of the green spaces in the city are host to many homeless camps. not many are inhabited through the winter, although i have come across people who are trying to make it despite the sub zero temps and heavy snows. last fall i counted 10 homeless camps near my house.
instead these camps become abandoned and the provisions left scattered about: tents, sleeping bags, garbage, bags of clothes, bottles, blankets...by the time winter is through they are no longer salvageable.
sometimes, makeshift pipes.
